The foundation years

Your child is already whole. We help the first spark catch and grow.

A child’s first reliable ways to communicate, connect, and move through the day. Early and intensive by design, because what gets built now is what everything later stands on.

Caregivers are coached, not just updated.

Coaching is in the plan from week one, so gains show up at the dinner table and in the grocery aisle, not only in session.

Teaching that follows your child.

Every goal has a clinical plan behind it. Your child sees blocks, bubbles, and a snack they learned to ask for.

Care in every setting.

Center, in-home, or out in the community. We build the plan around where your child’s day actually happens.

What we typically focus on

Where we most often begin, taught the way your child actually learns: in the middle of their day.

Every child’s plan is written from their own assessment. These are the areas that show up in nearly all of them.

01
Functional communication
A reliable way to ask for what they want and need, whether vocal, sign, or AAC.
02
Joint attention and early play
Sharing focus, imitating, and taking first turns.
03
Routines and transitions
Following simple routines and shifting activities with less distress.
04
Foundational self-care
Early mealtime, dressing, and toileting-readiness skills.
05
Reducing barriers to learning
Teaching what to do instead of the behaviors that get in the way.
06
Caregiver coaching
Building your skills alongside your child’s, from week one.

What progress looks like

Small, concrete, and real.

Handing over a picture card, signing, or saying a word to ask for a snack: their needs, communicated their way.
Using a visual schedule to leave play and come to the table.
Rolling a ball back and forth. Taking a turn. Looking up when they hear their name.
Getting through a haircut or a doctor visit in gradual, supported steps.
Later in the band, joining circle time or a small group for a few minutes.

Progress is steady and individual, measured in your child’s own gains, never against a promised timeline.

How it runs

Thirty hours sounds like a lot. It looks like a good day.

At this age the program is comprehensive and higher-intensity, typically 30–40 hours a week, mostly one-on-one with an RBT while a BCBA designs and oversees the plan. In practice that is a full, well-paced day: arrival and a familiar routine, one-on-one teaching woven through blocks and books and snack, movement, rest.

You’re in it too, with regular caregiver guidance sessions. Actual hours are set by your child’s assessment and authorization, never by a default.
